Annual Report 2011
The Audited Financial Statements for the year ended September 30, 2011 are to be considered by the Shareholders at the Company’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for the 20th day of December, 2012 at the City View Hotel, Newgate Street, St. John’s, Antigua at 3:00pm. The publication on the website of the Annual Report is in accordance with the Company’s Bylaws, Article 12.4.
Annual Report 2010
The Board recognizes
and remains
committed to fulfilling
its obligation to
establish policies,
make strategic
decisions and provide
the necessary
guidance to enable the
Company to offer THE
ULTIMATE SOLUTION
to its respective
Stakeholders.
Annual Report 2009
Notwithstanding these adversities
and challenges, I am pleased to
report that the Antigua Commercial
Bank Group recorded operating
income of $20.1M compared to
$17.1M the previous fiscal, a growth
of 17.5%. Net income grew by $2.0M
or 13.8% to $16.0M. In terms of the
Balance Sheet, loans and advances,
the Bank’s core business activity
grew by $41M or 8%, which in the
context of the general downturn in
the economy was an encouraging
performance.
Annual Report 2008
Despite these challenges, I am pleased to report that the Antigua
Commercial Bank Group strengthened its position in the financial
sector. Loans and advances, the Bank’s core business activity, grew
by $80 million (19%) primarily through commercial and mortgage
lending. Our profit for the year increased $1.7 million (13%) due to
overall flat total income and a reduction in operating costs by $1.5
million. This year, a dividend of 30 cents per unit of share has been
declared.
Annual Report 2007
This year’s Annual Report continues the journey
which started over 50 years ago when Antigua Commercial
Bank (ACB) – just a small local bank – took flight against the
winds of that time. Today it soars into the sphere of a new and
modern banking era, where there are virtually no boundaries
and where it is a real player in the global market. It is ACB’s
passion for excellence which will define our success and
longevity not just for another 50 years but for many more
decades ahead.
Annual Report 2006
We continued our focus on building the Bank’s capacity. In pursuance of this objective, Directors
attended corporate governance training sessions including seminars conducted by the
Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.
